Chapter 81 - Zhang Xiaofan defeats Ding Qi

To fight back, the Health Bureau mobilized a massive network of suppliers from all over the empire, which would carry tons of components to the city. Huge factories with thousands of preparing stations were built or repurposed to supply enough medicine for the entire population.
The new medicine was developed in Hefei, based mainly on Zhang Xiaofan's recipe, with some minor modifications. Due to the similarities between the two formulae and the pressure coming from Bai Chongye, the new medicine was not tested before being rolled out. Bai Chongye wanted it to be delivered as quickly as possible. Zhang Xiaofan's original recipe states that the mix must rest for at least 24 hours after being prepared and let cool down slowly. Instructions were clear, but Bai Chongye ordered the removal of this last step.
To distribute the medicine, the Health Bureau has built over a thousand stands all over the city where people could get the immunizing solution for free. Names were recorded in a table to avoid people getting it twice. The immunized received a mark made with indelible ink.
Hefei conducted studies in particular neighborhoods in which most people have taken medicine. The study has shown a significant reduction in infections, but the death rate was rising. They then realized it might be a new, more dangerous pathogen, which has developed some resistance against the medicine.
Unlike Zhang Yi, no one in Hefei managed to create a test that can tell both if the pathogen is present and dangerous it is. Zhang Yi's test helped Zhang Xiaofan identifying at least three different types of the pathogen, but, until now, the medicine seemed to work well against all of them.
In the meantime, Bai Chongye was able to recover completely. His mood is considerably better, but he is still mistreating his people compared to the other emperors. Most people hate him due to the closure of the city, but he does not care. Yu Qing was hated for being ruthless, killing over a hundred people since the city was closed.
Huangshan was faring much better. With virtually no new cases, Ding Qi lifted all the restrictions to residents. Over 99% of the population received the medicine, and Zhang Xiaofan was having trouble finding new cases of infection. People arriving from other empires must get tested. A positive result means the traveler is locked up in a temporary shelter for treatment and recovery.
Ding Qi was feeling blissful with the results shown in Zhang Xiaofan's report. To celebrate, he invited Zhang Xiaofan to a meal he prepared himself. He walked down to the courtyard and found Zhang Xiaofan there, playing the flute. Ding Qi arrives quietly and gently touches Zhang Xiaofan from behind:
-Ding Qi here. Please, keep playing if you want. I'm enjoying it. - He smiles.
Zhang Xiaofan opens his eyes, slowly turning to Ding Qi while playing. Upon making eye contact, he stops and bows to him:
-Greetings to your majesty.
-Please rise.
Ding Qi helps him to rise:
-Zhang Xiaofan. I invite you to have a meal with me. I want to celebrate our efforts fighting the epidemic and how good we are now.
-I feel flattered by your invitation. - Zhang Xiaofan smiles.
Ding Qi smiles back, gently taking his left hand, looking at his eyes:
-Please, come with me.
-As you wish.
As they move upstairs, the beautifully decorated balcony reveals. Ding Qi set the table so they would sit side by side rather than facing each other. Zhang Xiaofan smiles, surprised:
-Your Majesty... This is so beautiful!!!
-Maybe... But you are certainly prettier than all of it. - Ding Qi smiles.
They sit beside each other. The storm that was fustigating Shangrao could be seen from Huangshan, slowly moving sideways over the horizon. Ding Qi smiles and wraps his right arm around Zhang Xiaofan's waist, gently bringing him closer. Next, Wang shows up, bringing the plates prepared by Ding Qi:
-Excuse me... Here are the plates prepared by your majesty.
Wang let the plates over the table and walks away. Ding Qi lifts the covers, and Zhang Xiaofan smiles:
-Your Majesty!!! It looks terrific! The smell is wonderful!
-That's a good sign! Let's see if the taste is just as good as it seems in your eyes... I used to cook very well in the past.
Ding Qi gently takes a portion of the food, giving it to Zhang Xiaofan, and also saving some for him. The plates are mostly modified versions of local dishes from Huangshan. Ding Qi likes to add a spicy flavor to the food he cooks, and some colors as well, bringing vegs and meat together in a harmonic way. Since it is nighttime, Ding Qi prepared small portions.
Zhang Xiaofan enjoys the food:
-This is so tasty, your majesty!
-I'm happy you liked it... I usually do not cook anymore, that time I decided to put my heart on it, and celebrate with you. Our Huangshan is now going to be virtually safe from this disease for a long time.
-I hope so...
After eating, Ding Qi holds Zhang Xiaofan close to him. Zhang Xiaofan leans to the side, touching his head on Ding Qi's shoulder, taking one of his hands and gently caressing it. They watch the lightning strikes happening hundreds of li away:

Zhang Xiaofan closes his eyes while caressing one of the hands of Ding Qi:

Ding Qi and Zhang Xiaofan get up. Ding Qi opens his arms, and puts them around Zhang Xiaofan's waist, resting his hands over his upper back. They look deeply into each one's eyes. Ding Qi approaches slowly, touching his nose on Zhang Xiaofan, suddenly tightening the hug, which Zhang Xiaofan replicates. They then engage in a deep kiss.
Zhang Xiaofan can feel the temperature rising, as Ding Qi kisses him deeply. As they finish, Ding Qi caresses his face:
-Xiaofan... Maybe I'm going too fast... Would you bother to... sleep with me at least one time?
Zhang Xiaofan blushes strongly. Ding Qi blushes slightly, and waits for his reply:
-I... I may not be prepared to fully know your majesty...
-Wel... There's no need for a deep... dive. Just sleeping together...
-I accept... Ding Qi...
Zhang Ziaofan hugs Ding Qi tightly. Ding Qi caresses him, and then takes him in his arms, smiling:
-I love to carry you around, Zhang Xiaofan.
-Your majesty is such a strong person!
Ding Qi carries Zhang Xiaofan in his arms to his room. Getting there, he gently puts him on his bed, lying down next to him. There is a large window in his room that he left open. From his bed, they can see the lightning bolts happening far away:

Zhang Xiaofan gets up and removes his outer garment completely, leaving just the thin inner garment. He moves back to the bed, laying beside Ding Qi, smiling:

Zhang Xiaofan smiles, moving his hand over Ding Qi's chest, then reaching his waistbelt. Ding Qi is confused and aroused at the same time:

Ding Qi blushes and gets up. His upper garment is very easy to get off, but it has two layers of inner garment, being the last one just a very thin pair of pants and no shirt. He lays down close to Zhang Xiaofan. His exposed, muscular chest scatters the light falling on it. Zhang Xiaofan smiles, blushing slightly:

Zhang Xiaofan and Ding Qi look at the ceiling. Zhang Xiaofan puts one of his hands over Ding Qi's chest, caressing it:
-Your Majesty... You are so warm...

-Please... Keep us warm tonight, your majesty...

Zhang Xiaofan thinks for a moment. His forehead sweats a bit:

He moves closer to Ding Qi, and smiles:

Ding Qi's heavenly sky pillar starts to rise, even though he tries to get it under control. As Zhang Xiaofan is not directly over it, he didn't notice:
-Ahh... You will defeat me that way, Xiaofan... - Ding Qi smiles, breathing slowly.
-Your majesty tastes so good... I want to go further...
Zhang Xiaofan moves his right arm, and accidentally touches Ding Qi's heavenly sky pillar. When he turns and sees it, he smiles, blushing a lot. Ding Qi blushes too:
-Majesty... You are so... So powerful...
-Please... It is yours... You... You can... You know... play with it if you want to...
Zhang Xiaofan blushes strongly. He looks deeply into Ding Qi's eyes, smiling. He takes Ding Qi's left hand, gently guiding it down his inner garment, blushing him:
-Majesty... My sky pillar is also yours... All of it...
Ding Qi touches it and turns completely red, but he is, at the same time, astonished to know Xiaofan's pillar is just as high as his own and very close to Yu Lexuan's in a first look. He hadn't gotten the time to evaluate it previously, but it was a positive surprise to him.
Ding Qi gently grabs and squeezes Xiaofan's pillar, making him moan quietly:

Zhang Xiaofan and he get up from the bed. Zhang Xiaofan is red as pepper, but his heavenly sky pillar is pointing to the sky under his inner garment. He cannot control it, Ding Qi is just too hot.

Zhang Xiaofan moves down even further, moving his tongue over Ding Qi's abs while gently touching his back using both hands, getting dangerously close to the heavenly sky pillar. He feels scared by the size of it, but proceeds:
-Your majesty is so powerful... This is beautiful...
-Xiaofan... As I said, it is yours... aaaahhh...
Ding Qi closes his eyes, putting one hand behind Zhang Xiaofan's head, gently pressing it against his hip. Zhang Xiaofan then opens his mouth, and allows the heavenly ski pillar to "get in". Ding Qi feels it, and moans louder, pressing Zhang Xiaofan's head against his hip more strongly. In turn, Zhang Xiaofan let the heavenly sky pillar go deeper, while also gently sucking and nibbling it.
Ding Qi burns:
-Xiaofan... Ahhh... I cannot hold it!!!
Ding Qi's sky pillar explodes inside Zhang Xiaofan when it was almost fully outside, covering his face in debris. He smiles, getting up and kissing Ding Qi on his pecs, caressing his heavenly sky pillar using his hands:
-Aaah... Xiaofan... I'm not finished yet... I want to feel your power...
-Your majesty is so powerful... I want to explore further...
-Do it... Let's move back to the bed... Ahh...
Ding Qi lays facing Down, allowing Zhang Xiaofan to get over him. Zhang Xiaofan does so, resting his heavenly sky pillar between Ding Qi's two sides of his back. He moves slowly while kissing his shoulder from behind:
-Your Majesty... I feel in heaven...
-I want you to invade my city... Conquer it and bring me to your kneels, Xiaofan...
-Your majesty needs to warm up more... I'll do it shortly... I'm loving your heat.
-As you wish.... aaaahh...
Zhang Xiaofan then moves back and allows his sky pillar to "find" the target by itself, which it does. He then opens the city, and Ding Qi screams as he moved too fast:
-Xiaofan!!! Ahhhh!!! It is too much!!!
-Your Majesty!!! Your heat is so heavenly!!!
Zhang Xiaofan puts his entire bodyweight over the pillar, moving it as deep as he can. Ding Qi screams but enjoys it at the same time. It was exactly like playing with Yu Lexuan, but a bit too rough as Yu Lexuan played very smoothly but firmly. Xiaofan moves the pillar up and down, getting more heat from it, and also putting more heat on Ding Qi:
-Aaahhh Xiaofan!!! You are so good!!!
-Your Majesty is too hot!!! I can't describe it!!! aaahhh!!!
Zhang Xiaofan's pillar then explodes a few moments later. He hugs Ding Qi from behind but keeps moving his pillar between the two sides of his back, now covered by some debris, making the movement easier and more pleasant:
-Your Majesty... I'd never stop doing it if I could... I feel so relaxed with you...
-Xiaofan... I'm so surprised with you... I remember you were insecure about Yu Lexuan... But you do exactly the same things... I'm blissful you are the one I love...
-I feel so honored...
After they cool down, they move to the shower. The thunderstorm grows and approaches Huangshan. Ding Qi closes the window and they sleep together, hugging each other.
