Chapter 61 - Unexpected effect

Feng Long closes the door of his bedroom. By this time, most of his subordinates were sleeping already, as he decided to stay awake for a bit longer. He lights up an incense, both to keep mosquitoes away and also to leave a pleasant scent in the room. 
He lays down in the bed, looking at the ceiling. Some thoughts pass in his head while he waits for the sleep to come:

-I may regret my decision to open the empire for the disease, but at the same time, I trust Zhang Yi... His plans always worked as expected, and I know nothing about it compared to him... Maybe we should review this policy, or streamline the process... Ah, I don't know what to do!
Feng Long hugs one of the pillows and lays on its side. It does not take long until he finally starts to sleep, closing his eyes gently. 
About the same time, Zhang Yi starts to feel unwell. He is forced to get up quickly and feels an urgent need to throw up. He runs to the nearest sink:

-What's going on!?!

After he throws up, he feels much better. He then washes his face and his mouth:
-Was it a side effect of my medicine? Ding Qi has not reported it to me... Maybe I should go to the palace to verify if everyone else is fine!

The next minute, Feng Long also feels bad. He gets up and walks to the bathroom, throwing up in the sink as well. Zhang Yi arrives next, opening the door. He sees Feng Long holding itself on the sink, runs towards him:

-Majesty, please!!! 
-Zhang Yi... No need, I'm fine... I just feel like I ate something rotten and had to throw up.
-It is a side effect of the medicine... I was in a similar situation. Let's check for Yu Lexuan and Zhong Kunyi!
-Yes, please...

Feng Long goes to Yu Lexuan, and Zhang Yi moves to Zhong Kunyi. They both had already threw up a moment earlier. Feng Long gathers everyone next:

-Zhang Yi, I think we experienced a side effect. Were you aware it could happen? - Feng Long asks. 

-Not quite, Ding Qi hasn't reported any side effects, but I may have an answer for it. 

-Wow, already?- Feng Long smiles.

-Yep. Ding Qi so far only tried it on the infected. We are not infected, so our bodies responded to it as a threat. 

-Well, good to know it was nothing serious. 

-I'll include a moderator in the final medicine, so people will not feel that bad.

Zhang Yi gets closer to Yu Lexuan, punching him lightly in his shoulder:

-I told you I'd take the medicine first, but you choose to take it anyway. - Zhang Yi smiles.

-No problem, Zhang Yi, we trust you. - Feng Long smiles.

-Yes, but... Never mind, I'll include the moderator and tell Ding Qi he needs to do that as well. 

-Sure, you should tell him it. Well, I'm going back to my bedroom. I hope you all sleep well. - Feng Long smiles.

Everyone bows to him:

-You can rise. Have a good sleep, you all deserve it. 

They all return to their bedrooms, except, of course, Yu Lexuan, who decided to accompany Feng Long:

-Majesty, I don't like to dream alone...

 Yu Lexuan hugs Feng Long from behind, he smiles:

-Ok, you won. 

He turns and kisses Yu Lexuan. They enter the bedroom and lie down in the bed. Yu Lexuan cuddles Feng Long this time:

-Let me warm you up, majesty... 

-I love your heat, Yu Lexuan.

They sleep a few minutes later as it was well past midnight.
